Accommodation
Accommodation is only available for students studying a minimum of
15 hrs per week. Accommodation can be provided
- with local families in private homes
- in the Youth Hostel very near to the Office
- in nearby hotels
Local families:
These are usually within walking distance or require a short bus or
tube journey. The families usually offer bed, breakfast and dinner (i.e
half-board) seven days a week but some may offer bed and breakfast only.
Accommodation is booked from Sunday to Saturday and must be paid for
in advance. There is a booking fee - see Accommodation form.
Youth Hostel:
This Hostel is less than 10 minutes' walk from the Office and has clean
comfortable rooms. The Hostel must be booked direct. Please see details
below. It is not normally possible to stay there more than a few days
but the Hostel could be a convenient place to stay whilst trying to
arrange permanent accommodation.

WHAT TO PAY IF ACCOMMODATION IS REQUIRED
If accommodation is required, a minimum of two weeks'
accommodation must be paid.
There is an accommodation placement
fee of £35 for arranging the accommodation.
