Examinations

The Cambridge ESOL examinations are known all over the world and are recognised by universities, employers and national education authorities in many countries.

The examinations below cover all the four language skillls - listening, speaking, reading and writing and - above all - assess the candidates' ability to communicate effectively in English.
 

KET (Key English Test) - Basic command of the language - can pass on simple messages

PET (Preliminary English Test) - Limited but effective command of the language in familiar situations

FCE (First Certificate in English) - Generally effective command of the language in a range of situations

CAE (Certificate of Advanced English) - Good operational command of the language in a wide range of situations

CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) - Full command of the language at a high level in most situations

 
Dates of examinations:

KET, PET - at various times during the year. 


FCE - in March, June, August, December. 


CAE - in March, June, December. 


CPE - in June, December.

Candidates have to register about 2 months before the date of the Cambridge examinations.

We have a consistently high pass rate in all the above examinations.

 

English for Business examinations

We prepare students for the new Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC).

Students should register for the BEC examinations about 6 weeks before the date of the examinations which are held at various times throughout the year.

 

IELTS – (International English Language Testing System) examinations

We prepare students for the international IELTS tests sometimes required for entrance to University.

Candidates should register for the IELTS Tests about 1 month before the date of the tests which are held at various times throughout the year.
