Social Life

You come to this country not only to learn English but to see all the famous places you have heard of in London and perhaps visit other parts of the UK. You also want to meet other young people and make new friends so we offer a social programme which is an important part of school life.

Coach outings are arranged twice a term - on Sundays, when most of our students are free - and include visits to Bath, Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge and Stratford-upon-Avon. They are full-day excursions at reasonable prices always accompanied by a teacher and may include a guided tour.

Theatre visits are also arranged two or three times a term. These are visits to popular musical shows such as ‘Mamma Mia’ which are easy to enjoy, especially for those with only little English. These are always at special prices.

A river-boat trip is arranged every summer down the Thames to Geenwich, the famous place where you can stand both in East and West at the same time! Greenwich has a beautiful park and wonderful views over London.

A social evening is held near the beginning of term so you can meet students who come to school at a different time. Coffee, tea and cakes are provided free.

A Christmas party is our special annual event to which almost all students come. We provide wine and music and everyone seems to have a good time!
