Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all students in the school and if you register with us you will be considered to have accepted them.

Accommodation - Students must leave accommodation arranged by the School immediately they cease to be students at the School.

Age - Students must be at least 16 years of age to attend our classes - there is no upper age limit.

Attendance - The School keeps an attendance record for each student.

Bank charges - Transfers from abroad are subject to London bank charges of £12 - these are payable by the student.

Books - Students are required to buy their own class books and sometimes practice or test books. These are available from the Office.

Class sizes - There is a maximum number of 18 students in a class, average 14.

Holiday Study - Students with a student visa are not usually required to study in July/August.

Insurances - Our liability to students is limited to the school fees paid by the student. We accept no liability for loss or damage to students' property. Students are advised to arrange their own insurances for health or personal belongings.

Lessons - These are of 3 hours' duration and each lesson has a 20 minute tea-break.

Minimum length of enrolment - The minimum period of study is two weeks.

Public holidays - The school is closed on public holidays.

Refunds - No refunds will be made except under the following circumstances.

1. For students requiring a student visa
   
   If your visa is refused all fees will be refunded less an administration fee of £50 provided that we have written proof of refusal from the relevant authority. Once your visa is granted then no refund can be given.
   
   
2. For students not requiring a student visa
   
   Cancellation before start of course:
   
   If you have to cancel your studies before beginning your course you must give at least 21 days' notice of cancellation. Your fees less £100 deposit will be refunded.
   
   If you give less than 21 days' notice of cancellation, your fees less £100 and two weeks' fees will be refunded.

Transfer of payments - Payments may not be transferred from one student to another under any circumstances.
